Interviews & Featured Postings
Our team offers employers a streamlined process to connect with students for job and/or internship opportunities. Employers can choose from three options based on their hiring needs: a featured posting, an interview room reservation on campus, or a fully-managed campus or virtual interview process.
Participation includes:
- Employers benefit from the high visibility of positions, application collection, and support from dedicated staff to field student questions and educate students on the recruiting process.
- Our office advertises job and/or internship opportunities to students through our website, Crimson Careers platform, and email lists.
- Participating employers are featured in office programming and highlighted to the career center student advising team.
Interviews: Getting Started
Employers can choose between these Recruiting options:
- Preselect to Alternate: We will collect resumes and manage your campus interview or invite-only event schedule. Directly through Crimson Careers, you will preselect primary and alternate candidates and make interview decisions prior to the campus interview date. This includes a Featured Posting, application deadline support, and interview scheduling.
- Room Reservation Only: We will support on-campus room reservation(s) for to meet with candidates you have separately selected and scheduled for interviews.

Preselect to Alternate
“Preselect to Alternate” Steps:
- Log in to Crimson Careers and navigate to the Recruiting > Schedules > Click “Request a Recruiting Schedule.”
- Session: 2026 – 2027 Fall Interviews
- Schedule Type: Preselect to Alternate
- Your “Preselect to Alternate” Interview request schedule will be approved, then you will add posting(s) to the schedule, and the posting(s) are promoted to students
- Students apply via Crimson Careers (option to refer students to employer website) by the corresponding “Student Application Deadline” date
- Employer reviews applicant pool & make their selections by the corresponding “Employer Preselect Deadline”
- Candidates invited to interview will signup for an available timeslot.
- Host your Interviews
Fees: $200/posting; $200/on-campus room. There are no fees for non-profit or goverment organizations.
On-Campus Interviews: Standard Full-Day Interview: 9:30a – 4:30p interview timeslots; organization arrival time begins and 9am and depature ends at 5pm. To request interview timeslots beyond this, please contact our team, employers@fas.harvard.edu.
Half-day or shorter interview schedules are also permitted.
Room Reservation Only
To request an on-campus room, reservation(s) for to you to meet with candidates you have separately selected and scheduled for interviews.
- Employer schedule gets approved by our team, employers@fas.harvard.edu
- On Crimson Careers, on the lefthand menu you can request interview room(s) view Recruiting > Schedules > Request an Interview Schedule > Schedule type: “None – Room Reservation Only”
- On-campus room reservations are $200/room for for-profit employers.
Featured Job/Internship Posting
Featured Postings offer employers additional promotion of their opportunities. In addition to being highlighted in Crimson Careers, postings are curated in MCS’ weekly Featured Posting newsletter, delivered directly to students subscribed to the Recruiting Email List. Employers retain full flexibility in their recruiting process – no interview date is required or displayed to students.
To feature a posting, submit the Featured Posting Payment Form and post your opportunity in Crimson Careers under Jobs > Job Postings.
- $200 per Featured Posting for for-profit employers.
- All fees must be paid by credit card (MasterCard/Visa/AmEx).
