Search for a Job / Internship

Job hunting is like launching a startup—it takes initiative, resilience, and the ability to pivot. If your first plan doesn’t work, then try another approach. It is important to stay motivated and flexible, and open to opportunities. Success often comes through relationships—so engage, connect, and grow your professional network. Utilize a similar approach and resources when searching for internship opportunities, which can lead to full-time job opportunities.

  1. Set up a job/internship search on Crimson Careers*.
  2. Perfect your resume and cover letter.
  3. Craft your LinkedIn Profile. Use the Headshot Hub in the Collaborative Commons on the 2nd Floor of the Smith Campus Center for your free professional headshot!
  4. Connect with alumni on MCS Firsthand Advisors*.
  5. Attend a career fair or employer networking event.
  6. Talk to an MCS advisor and create a plan!
