SparkPath Career Discovery Digital Challenge Cards

SparkPath Digital Challenge Cards are an interactive career exploration tool designed to help discover career paths by focusing on real-world challenges rather than traditional job titles. The digital cards present various challenges across different categories like health, technology, society, environment, and the economy. Interacting with these cards can identify challenges that resonate, leading to a personalized “Challenge Profile”, and an action plan for career exploration.

Tips for using this tool: 

  1. Most students spend between 5-15 minutes completing the sort. 
  2. If you aren’t sure of what a challenge means (like “make things beautiful”), click on the information button for extra definitions and examples. The info button is a lowercase “i” with a circle around it.  
  3. This can be done on your phone very easily! However, you may need to take a screenshot of your final three focus areas and email it to yourself to remember  
  4. You can redo the sorting activity at any point. It’s now your account!
