Hi! My name is Anne and I’m a sophomore in Lowell House studying Chemical & Physical Biology and Government. At MCS, I’m excited to help students explore different career paths and think about what comes next. On campus, I’m involved in research focused on the biology of aging in the Segel Lab. This last summer, I worked in the Vilchez Lab in Cologne, Germany investigating proteostasis in C. elegans and its implications for neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s. I also worked as a research assistant for Professor Levitsky, studying democratic backsliding in the United States. On campus, I’m part of FM Magazine (The Crimson), ExperiMentors (PBHA), and the IOP’s Service Coalition. I’m also an Air Force ROTC cadet. In my free time, I love to read, bake, and run. I look forward to working with you at MCS!
