The Research Grants Council (RGC) of Hong Kong is accepting applications for the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) for the 2027/28 academic year. Established in 2009, the scheme supports international students pursuing PhD studies at eight participating universities in Hong Kong.
A total of 400 fellowships will be awarded for PhD studies commencing in the 2027/28 academic year.
Fellowship Benefits:

Monthly Stipend: HK$28,700 (approximately US$3,680).

Research and Conference Travel Allowance: HK$14,400 (approximately US$1,840) per year.
