About the role:

Endeavor’s mission of building entrepreneurial ecosystems begins with identifying and selecting the fastest-growing, most aspirational founders and businesses. The Entrepreneur Selection team oversees Endeavor’s worldwide pipeline and evaluates candidate entrepreneurs at the final stages of the selection journey. As an Analyst on this team, you will conduct due diligence on a wide variety of companies progressing through the candidate pipeline, and prepare in-depth written profiles on key business elements, including the product, market opportunity, and growth strategy. You will also work with our team on strategic and operational projects, while building an understanding of Endeavor’s markets.

You will work directly with founders and CEOs of high-growth scaleups, as well as with colleagues from around the world, to understand and present businesses across a wide variety of sectors including – but certainly not limited to – fintech, AI, commerce, B2B software, healthcare, and frontier tech (e.g., space, biotech, quantum).

In addition to candidate company analysis, you will also be responsible for analysis of trends of entrepreneurial activity across Endeavor’s 35+ markets, as well as the collaborative execution of monthly International Selection Panels (ISPs). During ISPs, we gather select business leaders from Endeavor’s worldwide network – top founders, investors, and operators alike – to evaluate entrepreneur candidates on their fit with Endeavor’s selection criteria. ISPs take place both virtually and in-person, with the potential for travel opportunities for staff – recent ISPs have taken place in Athens, São Paulo, and Bali; with five exciting destinations planned for 2027!

  • Conduct business analysis and profile development: On a monthly basis, construct 2-4 high-quality, polished business profiles for candidates at the International Selection Panel stage
  • Collaborate across teams and stakeholders: Build relationships with Endeavor’s worldwide teams, as well as founders in Endeavor’s selection funnel, while diligencing candidate businesses
  • Study global markets: Analyze and build understanding of emerging markets, venture capital, and industry sectors
  • Keep the bar high: Continuously improve our team-wide internal processes and deliverables – raise the bar on ISP execution, review profiles for superior quality, set example for excellence in selection to our teams worldwide
  • Support strategic projects: Work with other Analysts or senior members on the Entrepreneur Selection team on strategic initiatives spanning operations, product / tech, data, etc.

  • Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship, emerging markets, and/or venture capital
  • Relevant work experience in a high-performance environment, including but not limited to startups / scaleups, venture capital, finance, and consulting

What you bring:

You are a quick learner and curious thinker, eager to learn about the way businesses and the world work. You communicate clearly and with empathy. An exemplary candidate has:

  • Keen business intuition: You can quickly understand key concepts of entrepreneurship and venture capital while building your skills in interpreting financial statements and metrics, understanding businesses across sectors and geographies, and adapting to new markets. You will be expected to produce clear, concise, and objective writing, as well as to edit others’ arguments for clarity. You will collaborate with Endeavor colleagues from cultures all around the world, as well as directly with VIP stakeholders, including leading meetings with top-tier founders.

  • Self-driven organizational skills: We work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. While we are highly-collaborative, you will proactively manage the more cyclical profile development with other strategic initiatives.
