GSAS: Academic Job Search Accountability Group Kick-Off

Stressed about applying for academic jobs and postdocs this fall? Can’t find time in your busy schedule to write that cover letter, craft your CV, or tailor yet another application?

Join us for six virtual sessions to stay on track!
Mondays, September 14, 21, 28, and October 5, 19, and 26, 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. (No meeting on October 12.)

Use this dedicated time to move your academic job search forward in a supportive environment with accountability among other graduate students. Spend 60 minutes on focused work, bookended by 5-15 minutes at each session’s start and end discussing goals, outcomes, and strategies for success. Laura Stark, Associate Director for Academic Careers, will kick off the group on Monday September 14 with a brief overview of academic career resources and services available to you through the Mignone Center for Career Success (MCS). Regular attendance is suggested for group accountability. Minimum group size is four, maximum is ten.
