What will you be doing?
I am excited to begin a new role as the Managing Director of Health Nutrition and Education at Share Our Strength, and also working more in the community to help ensure that kids and families have access to affordable (quality) food.
What advice do you have for Harvard HES students, now that you have graduated?
It is really important to be present in all of your courses, embrace the opportunity to learn from your professors, but don’t forget to also learn from other students in your class. The professors in the HES program are experts in the field, attend office hours and take the time to learn from these experts. Take advantage of the office hours!
In what ways has your Harvard Extension degree impacted your career?
The Harvard Extension degree is impacting my career professionally and personally. Although, the information and knowledge gained in my graduate courses were tremendously helpful, the insights and opportunities to work with my professor, and fellow students to get help solving real-life business issues with experts and fellow students from diverse industries and diverse backgrounds.
