ALM, History

Where will you be living next year?
Amsterdam, NL (new city & country)

What will you be doing?
I have been accepted into a Ph.D. program researching Transatlantic Early Modern History at the University of Amsterdam.

What advice do you have for Harvard HES students, now that you have graduated?
Work hard, come fully prepared for each class, and actively engage with classmates and teachers as much as possible. Have fun and push yourself intellectually. Ultimately, there is no time like the present to facilitate your future.

In what ways has your Harvard Extension degree impacted your career?
The ALM degree program opened a pathway for me to further pursue a life goal that has dramatically repurposed my life. Through the challenging coursework and encouraging collegial environment, I developed the essential tools and requisite transcript to begin an academic research career and the demonstrable track record that any/all Ph.D. admittance committees would require me to present, credential-wise.
