About Us
Voter is a startup creating a groundbreaking platform dedicated to enhancing democratic engagement through innovative technology. Our mission is to bridge the gap between citizens and their representatives, ensuring every voice is heard and accounted for in our democratic process.
Why Us
The United States was founded on the principles of the rights of the individual, community, and the opportunity to pursue happiness. We as a team believe knowledge, transparency, and communication are essential for any democracy to flourish. However, with the increase of a complex environment mired by the confusion of social media, news bias, and an overwhelming amount of data, it’s incredibly difficult to know how to get the information you need, quickly, and without bias. Friends, family, and even strangers are migrating further to political silos and civil debate is increasingly diminishing in our communities. Like America’s founding principles, our team respects and encourages diversity of opinion, background, personal preferences, and the freedom to pursue happiness.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking interns who want to be part of a social impact startup and make their impression on a potentially revolutionary venture. If you are hungry to grow your skillset in a demanding, fast-paced, and fun environment, then we are the startup for you.
Location
Voter has three founders who are based in Boston, Seattle, and Hyderabad. Like the team, this is a flexible, remote position with opportunities for hybrid depending on your location.
Responsibilities:
i. Assist in creating and refining the methodology for evaluating traditional and non-traditional political indicators (e.g. voting records, polling data, etc.) and questionnaires.
ii. Conduct research on political behavior, voter sentiment, and election trends.
iii. Analyze large datasets to uncover insights relevant to Voter’s objectives.
iv. Collaborate with the development team to integrate research findings into Voter’s platform.
