Ikigaiom is a startup career experimentation fellowship for US college students to sample different startup roles.
This summer, we’re selecting 10 US college students from across the country to participate in a 3-week work experience program in Medellín, Colombia, which includes:
- Career Experimentation: Sample different startup roles (product management, growth, operations, sales, customer success). Gain practical experience and foundational skills through both real project work and simulated challenges that replicate the startup work environment.
- Upskilling: Learn skills essential for startups (AI, automation, data analysis, no-code, etc.)
- Job Search Support: Guidance on applying to and choosing startups, plus help with personal branding.
- Purpose Discovery: Workshops and activities designed to help you find a clear career direction, and plan your initial steps.
Who should apply
- You are interested in the startup space, excited by the potential for a high level of impact.
- You want to work at a startup, are unsure of what role would suit you best, and want practical experience in a variety of roles. Or, you are an aspiring founder and want an in-depth look at the functions of each role and experience with each.
- You’re a self-starter, and personal growth is important to you.
- You don’t need to be a US citizen, and it’s open to students of any major.
Dates: 9th June — 30th June
