Are you a creative wordsmith who wants marketing, nonprofit, or fundraising experience? Do you love taking photos or creating reels and want to use your digital storytelling skills to make an impact?
We’re seeking two Student Content Creators on the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Development Communications team (FAS DevComm) within Harvard Alumni Affairs and Development (AA&D). FAS DevComm engages Harvard donors, alumni, parents, and friends through written and visual content that inspires essential support for Harvard College. The Student Content Creators will play a key role through writing and social media production.
The positions run from August 5, 2024, through May 30, 2025. Hours will range from 1 to 6 hours per week. We offer completely flexible scheduling to work with your academic and personal schedule. The pay rate for this position is $16.50 per hour.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate content (including social media captions and photos and videos taken with your phone camera) that captures the student experience, to be shared on the Harvard College alumni Instagram and Facebook pages.
- Write and create content for other alumni and donor projects, such as stories on the Harvard alumni website, fundraising appeals, and thank you messages to donors.
- Work remotely and meet weekly deadlines.
- Attend occasional virtual meetings.
