Jennifer is a Technical Specialist 2 with the Mayo Clinic, one of the most respected academic medical centers in the world. Jennifer works in the molecular genetics clinical laboratory, analyzing the DNA from patients’ blood and tissue samples for any mutations. While entry level lab techs will be sitting at the bench performing the analysis, Jennifer’s role today also involves project management and development, bringing new studies into the laboratory to begin routine testing.
