Host Networking & Information Sessions
Why?
Hosting a networking and information session gives you a dedicated opportunity to connect directly with students and share what makes your company unique. Whether you choose to deliver a presentation, facilitate a Q&A, host a panel, host an invite-only dinner, etc., these sessions allow you to highlight your company culture, upcoming roles, and values.
Events should be requested via Crimson Careers
- Navigate to Events > My Events > Request Event (Event Type: Employer Networking / Information Session)
- All recruiting events must be requested via the registration form and confirmed by the Recruiting & Employer Engagement team.
New to recruiting at Harvard? We recommend attending one of our industry specific career fairs or hosting coffee chats/office hours. Should you decide to host an individual event, please see our guidelines below.
Scheduling Networking & Information Sessions
Employers may host presentations about their organization year round. Early fall (September and October) is the most requested time for these events, so if this is your desired timeframe, we recommend scheduling as far in advance as possible.
All recruiting events must be requested via the registration form and confirmed by the Recruiting & Employer Engagement team. You will receive a confirmation email when your requested date & time has been approved. Confirmation is required prior to our office promoting your event details.
NOTE: These meetings are valuable for both students and employers, but we caution that it can be difficult to build an audience, depending on the time of year. We cannot guarantee student attendance, and it is possible that very few students will attend your presentation.
