In what ways has HES impacted your career and long-term professional goals?
Completing my ALM allowed me to expand my education in tremendous ways. I was challenged in ways I hadn’t experienced in my undergrad studies. I completed a certificate in international relations that has influenced my understanding of global politics which is helpful in my work as an intelligence analyst in the Navy.
What advice do you have for HES students now that you have graduated?
Come hungry for knowledge and believe that you can do this. It can be difficult to juggle adult responsibilities and a rigorous course load. But know that while the effort is temporary the payoff lasts a lifetime.
