In what ways has Harvard Extension School impacted your career and long-term professional goals?
Being a part of HES opened so many doors I wasn’t even aware of. It refined my deep curiosity through gaining tangible research skills, expanded my network beyond industries, companies, and countries I knew, and empowered me in ways I didn’t know I needed to do the work in communities and areas I care deeply about.
What advice do you have for HES students now that you have graduated?
Don’t be afraid to integrate yourself into the community, find opportunities, whether that’s grabbing coffee with your professor, joining a sports group, or getting to know your classmates outside of the classroom. Sometimes you learn as much as you do outside of the classroom as you do inside.
