In what ways has Harvard Extension School impacted your career and long-term professional goals?
Harvard supported my objective to make a career change. After decades in government relations and energy policy, I shifted into not-for-profit museum work. Harvard’s professional network and academic requirements are a significant advantage for those new to the field.

What advice do you have for HES students now that you have graduated?
I advise current students to spend time on campus and meet people. The academic grounding is essential, but so are the opportunities to learn about job openings and, more generally, job roles that may be of interest. For students who are returning to school after any years, do not try to manage too many classes at once.
