What will be your next step after graduation?
Director of Recruitment and Admissions, University of Michigan, School for Environment and Sustainability

Where will you be living?
Ann Arbor, MI

In what ways has HES impacted your career and long-term professional goals?
Harvard Extension School allowed me to develop my digital media skills, both conceptual and practical, and apply them to real-world projects. I completed a professional photography project on migrant workers in Qatar, built a dozen websites (some with advanced database functionality), developed a course to help Moroccan public school teachers transition to online teaching, and submitted a short film to multiple festivals worldwide.

The skills, mindset, and network I developed are helping me elevate my work in higher education. They are also enabling me to create meaningful and engaging language courses for future generations of learners.

What advice do you have for HES students now that you have graduated?
Challenge yourself and set your aims higher than what you think you can accomplish as an individual. Your faculty, fellow students, and the various resource centers will help you unlock much more potential than you think! What you receive in a continuing education environment is generally proportionate to what you are willing to put in yourself. Take the lead.
