In what ways has HES impacted your career and long-term professional goals?
It has vastly enriched my appreciation for what those around me do in my current position. My degree is in Digital Media Design, and I happen to work in the same field. I’ve been able to fully understand my field and also share learnings and presentations with others at work.
What advice do you have for HES students now that you have graduated?
I would say have a plan in mind. Know what you want to do your Capstone project on as early as possible and what it entails. Plan for it in all of the classes you take so that you have all the skills you need to build whatever it is you decide to create or build. Start ideating on it as soon as you start your graduate journey – you’ll thank yourself later! Other than that, take full advantage of the rich opportunity to meet and learn from other students around the globe – it’s priceless!
