In what ways has HES impacted your career and long-term professional goals?
Harvard Extension School created a space for me to continue my education in a supportive and accommodating environment. I left college after one semester and struggled with going back or not. I did not want to go back and have a “traditional” college experience with dorms and all, but I also knew I wanted to be back in school. When I found HES I knew it would be a perfect fit. The professors were amazing at HES and beyond (writing graduate school recommendations). HES also helped me foster my growth for the psychology field and prepare me for graduate school.

What advice do you have for HES students now that you have graduated?
Enjoy your time at HES and be deliberate about the classes you take. Being a part of HES is such a privilege and it will go by much quicker than you think. The HES community (teachers, students, advisors, and deans) are here to support you. Reach out if you need help or want to connect with people. Come to campus and immerse yourself in a different way, that is where I made the strongest connections with other students.
