Concentration: Bioengineering on the Chemical and Materials subtrack
Interest Areas: Exploring & Self-Assessment, Engineering, Environment
Hello! My name is Lexi Triantis, and I’m a senior in Mather studying Bioengineering on the Chemical and Materials subtrack. I’m originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, and on campus, I’m involved in wellness and service organizations, as well as research in the Weitz Lab. This past summer, I conducted research at the University of Heidelberg in Germany, where I worked on engineering biohybrid microactuator models. It took some exploration to figure out what I wanted to pursue, but I’ve come to really value the process of trying unfamiliar things. In my free time, I love being outdoors–whether hiking, biking (join me on a HOTM bike ride!), or rollerblading. I’m very excited to be a MCS PAF this year and to help students explore different career paths!
