Hi! My name is Katie Garcia, and I am a senior in Leverett House studying Integrative Biology and Psychology. In clinical practices, I am interested in the intersection of psychiatry and other specialties with a focus on oncology and neurology as well as collaborating with minority and religious communities to destigmatize mental health. In addition to being a PAF on campus, I have spent my past three years working for the World Pre-Health Conference as well as launching the Undergraduate Religion, Spirituality, and Health Group. Off campus, I am a research intern at Morton Lab at Boston Children’s Hospital and volunteer at Dana Farber and Latino y Sano. In my free time, I love to row, run, and lift as well as explore psychology literature and the various coffee shops of Cambridge. I am so excited to be a Pre-Health PAF this year and help you navigate being pre-med at Harvard while also exploring and growing other areas of your undergraduate career!
