In what ways has HES impacted your career and long-term professional goals?
In 2021, I was a newly minted expert in remote work with a very popular Coursera course on remote management and a job that involved not just defining and codifying best practices for remote work, but consulting and speaking. I wanted to supplement this expertise with more understanding of organizational psychology, research, best practices, and historical knowledge. Getting my degree through HES allowed me not just to learn and apply these concepts to the world of remote work, but also introduced me to practitioners and colleagues around the world. I walked away from the program confident in my skill and ready to take an active role in creating a new future of work grounded in principles and research.
What advice do you have for HES students now that you have graduated?
Connect with your classmates! You’ll learn as much from them as from your classes.
