In what ways has Harvard Extension School impacted your career and long-term professional goals?
Harvard Extension School has had a profound impact on both my career and long-term professional goals. The program deepened my understanding of advanced financial concepts and broadened my global perspective on business and economics. It also gave me the academic foundation and confidence to pursue my passion for teaching and mentoring. The rigorous coursework, world-class faculty, and intellectually rich environment helped me bridge my 20+ years of industry experience with academic theory, strengthening my ability to educate and guide others. Most importantly, it inspired me to transition into a more impactful role as an international financial instructor, with a long-term vision of contributing to academic institutions and shaping the next generation of finance professionals.

What advice do you have for HES students now that you have graduated?
My advice to current HES students is to fully embrace the journey! It’s not just about earning a degree, but about transforming how you think, learn, and lead. Take advantage of every opportunity to engage deeply with the coursework, faculty, and your peers. The diversity of experience within the HES community is one of its greatest strengths, so connect, collaborate, and learn from each other.

I also strongly recommend getting involved in student organizations and professional development programs. For me, attending Harvard Extension Student Association (HESA) events and networking with fellow professionals added tremendous value beyond the classroom.
Finally, stay curious and open to growth. Whether you’re looking to change careers, deepen expertise, or pursue a passion, HES gives you the tools and then it is up to you to use them fully.
