Hi everyone! My name is Helen and I’m a junior in Eliot House concentrating in the History of Science on the Medicine and Society track with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. Specifically, I’m extremely interested in studying the patient experience and the patient-physician relationship, which I am exploring through two public health-focused internships, the first in partnership with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC (my hometown!) and the second with Mass General Brigham Hospital here in Boston. Outside of the classroom, I have further explored this passion by volunteering for PBHA’s Elderly 1-2-1 and Pets As Therapy (PAT) programs. Extracurricularly, I am a member of the Women’s Club Lacrosse Team and I love exploring new food spots in the Boston area, going on long walks and runs, and reading new books! This will be my second year as a PAF and my first year as an Eagle PAF – I love working with and learning from first-years and am so excited to be starting this new position as a Pre-Health Liaison PAF so feel free to reach out and to ask me any questions about life at Harvard, pre-health-related or otherwise!
