In what ways has Harvard Extension School impacted your career and long-term professional goals?
The ALM, I-O Psychology program at HES not only helped me to grow my career within my organization, but it also broadened my perspectives about the world around me, taught me the importance of considering and including diverse people, viewpoints, and backgrounds in my work, and made me an overall better person and professional. Because of this program, I understand how to interpret data, vet sources and facts for accuracy and bias, and communicate my ideas in a clear and persuasive manner. These are skills that I now utilize every single day with increasing necessity, both at work, and in my personal role as an informed citizen of the world.
Take it one step, one day, one assignment at a time. You’ll be walking across the finish line before you know it, ready to take on whatever new challenges the world may put in front of you. And even when you don’t feel ready to tackle those challenges, you’ll be able to do so knowing that you have the entire Harvard Community standing beside you, ready to pick you up if you stumble along the way.
