What advice do you have for HES students now that you have graduated?
Take advantage of the publication resources that the faculty provide. Ask for help writing your bio, how to track submissions, and how to write a query letter. Start with small journals, then work your way up. Learn how to manage rejection and find your people along the way who will help you see your writing with fresh eyes.
