How you’ll make an impact:
We are seeking a summer intern to work alongside our Identity and Access Management team here at SiriusXM. In this role, you will be working closely with IAM Engineers on our identity platform. This is a great opportunity to make an impact in a growing organization committed to delivering outstanding user experiences.
What you’ll do:

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IAM policies, procedures, and best practices.

Support the team in user provisioning, de-provisioning, and role management processes.

Help monitor and audit user access and permissions across various systems and applications.

Participate in the analysis of access control requirements and assist in developing appropriate solutions.

Assist with IAM-related projects, including system upgrades and migrations.

Document processes, procedures, and findings for internal compliance and training purposes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with security policies and practices.

Stay updated on IAM trends, technologies, and best practices
What you’ll need:

Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by May 2026 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship.

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Basic understanding of IAM concepts, including user provisioning, authentication, and authorization.

Familiarity with access control models (RBAC, ABAC) is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience with IAM tools (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, SailPoint) is a plus.

Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is beneficial.

Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is advantageous.
At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be $37.00 – $40.00 / hour and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
