SHERBER+RAD is hiring a full-time patient coordinator for a premier dermatology and plastic surgery practice in the heart of Washington, D.C. The ideal fit for this position is someone interested in dermatology and plastic surgery who has excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, a gracious approach to helping others, and is a team player.
You will be working with Dr. Noëlle Sherber, a Harvard educated and Johns Hopkins trained dermatologist and Clinical Associate Professor at George Washington University who sees a diverse range of medical and cosmetic patients, and Dr. Ariel Rad, a Princeton and Duke educated and Johns Hopkins trained plastic surgeon and Clinical Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins who performs complex reconstructive and cosmetic cases. Several Harvard students have worked in this role previously.
RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):
directly assisting patients before and after consultations, treatments, and surgeries; scheduling appointments; documenting in the electronic medical record; communicating with patients by phone and email to answer questions and to facilitate their care; cross-training in dermatology and plastic surgery medical assisting; helping with in-store and online orders as well as inventory management and events in our skincare and beauty boutique
SALARY:
– $50,000 annually
– discretionary annual performance-based bonus
HOURS:
Monday-Friday 10am-6pm
