Detonation Physics Engineer (Watkins, CO, USA)
• Contributes effectively to progress R&D in the field of Next Generation Initiation Systems for Mining and Civil Blasting.
• Works together with Principal Research Fellow on Detonation Physics Modelling (improvements and acceleration of capabilities)
• Development of new technologies to concept proof and beyond.
• Provide modelling assistance within the Research & Innovation Team as well as the wider Technology & Innovation Group and the Orica Global Business.
• Captures R&D in high quality reports and presentations. Assistance with update for major stakeholders.
• Contributions to safe work environment. Compliance with Orica’s safety procedures and risk management processes.

Compensation Range
· $70,200 – $98,280 per year
· Eligible for annual short-term incentive plan
(Salary to be determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
