Research Coordinator, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York City
This research coordinator position will involve recruiting participants for allergy studies at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (New York City), coordinating their testing, performing sample collections, working in the laboratory processing samples and performing assays, organizing study data and regulatory documents, and coordinating research activities within the lab and with collaborators.
The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary research team led by physician scientist, Professor Supinda Bunyavanich. Minimum 2+ year commitment.
This position would be a good fit for an individual interested in medicine, laboratory work, and clinical research, because it will involve interaction with patients and clinical staff, laboratory work at the bench, and hands-on experience with many aspects of clinical research, including multi-center collaborations.
A successful candidate will be self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills, close attention to detail, superb organizational skills, laboratory experience, and a firm commitment to learning, efficient work, communication, and the team effort.

Requirements:
- Work experience in clinical research
- Work experience in a scientific laboratory
- Bachelor’s degree
- Work experience in an academic research group
- Willingness to commit 2+ years to this position
Preferred
- Experience managing IRBs
- Graduate degree in science, medicine, or health
- Data science skills
