About the Position
The Editorial and PR Intern provides critical support to help grow awareness among and build the foundation’s network of donors and partners – and ultimately create a future where LGBTQ people thrive.
This position is a remote position open to people living in the United States. The Intern will communicate regularly via email, chat, and video call. The Intern must own a laptop on which to perform the duties of this internship.
This is a temporary position compensated at the rate of $15/hour, 10-20 hours/week. Start and end dates are flexible (roughly, Labor Day through Christmas).
With guidance from Horizons’ Director of Communications, the Editorial and PR Intern will pitch, research, and write grantee stories and other blog content; draft press releases; and maintain media lists.
