Role Description
Main Purpose:
The Marketing and Media Relations Intern is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of marketing strategies and media relations activities to enhance the company’s image, expand brand awareness, and promote products/services. The intern will assist in creating and disseminating promotional content, managing media inquiries, and establishing relationships with media representatives and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Media Outreach:
- Assist in identifying and building relationships with relevant media representatives, bloggers, and influencers.
- Support the coordination and execution of media events, press releases, and other outreach activities.
- Marketing Support:
- Assist with the creation and distribution of marketing materials and promotional content across various channels.
- Support the implementation of marketing campaigns and monitor their performance.
- Contribute to the development of marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, and online content.
- Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, potential partnership opportunities, and the media landscape.
- Assist with analyzing the effectiveness of marketing and media relations strategies and recommend improvements.
- Identify new advertising opportunities and potential media partnerships.
- Content Creation:
- Support the development of engaging and informative content for social media, websites, newsletters, etc.
- Assist with copywriting and editing of promotional materials, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
- Administrative Support:
- Perform various administrative tasks such as maintaining media lists, coordinating schedules, and managing correspondence.
- Assist in organizing and archiving media and marketing assets.
- Event Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of promotional events, product launches, and other corporate events.
- Provide logistical support during events and liaise with vendors and participants.
