Foros is a premier boutique investment bank based in New York City. We specialize in providing independent advice on a wide range of M&A transactions and strategic advisory assignments and work with a diverse, global set of clients across all major industry sectors. Founded in 2009, we have advised 88 clients across 100+ transactions with over $78bn in deal volume. We take a meaningfully different approach than other firms, which we believe leads to superior outcomes for our clients. Our approach differs in two ways:
- The truly independent nature of our advice: Our advice is independent and unconflicted – we bank individual companies rather than industries; we pursue long term value versus short term transactions; we are not a lender or customer of our clients; and we do not work for activist investors.
- The depth, rigor, and intellectual integrity of our analysis: We take time to develop differentiated analyses and customized recommendations driven by our willingness to challenge conventional wisdom and our tireless quest for the right answer. And we tell it like it is: if a transaction isn’t right for our client, we say so.
We are looking for motivated seniors to join our team as full-time investment banking analysts in New York City starting Summer 2026:
Foros’s Analyst Program is a two-year program that provides recent graduates with extensive training and hands-on experience working on a variety of M&A transactions and strategic advisory assignments. Our lean team size allows analysts to take on significant responsibility and work alongside blue-chip, corporate clients on challenging assignments and transactions. Foros analysts work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that rewards intellectual curiosity and rigor and receive unparalleled mentorship from the most senior members of the firm. As a result, the depth and breadth of skills our analysts develop and the quality of their experience surpasses that of other Wall Street analyst programs.
As an analyst at Foros, you will learn:
- How to apply core analytical skills to fundamentally understand true drivers of value
- How to think about companies, their challenges and opportunities, and develop customized, analytical frameworks for identifying value creation opportunities
- How to negotiate transactions and drive value through superior negotiation strategy and tactics
You will also have the opportunity to:
- Manage a broad range of responsibilities on lean deal teams, with deep involvement in financial modeling and fundamental analysis
- Interact directly with senior bankers and clients on all aspects of a transaction to a far greater extent than is available in other firms
- Benefit from Wall Street-leading economics (starting base pay of $125,000 and competitive bonus expectations) and very strong post-analyst career opportunities, including internal promotion opportunities
- Learn from and be mentored by industry veterans
- Participate in a comprehensive one-month training program at the beginning of the analyst program
You are an ideal candidate if:
