Position Description
Dr. Kate Alexander’s group at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is seeking highly motivated post-doctoral researcher to investigate the fundamentals of gene regulation as mediated by nuclear speckles, a prominent, yet enigmatic structure within the cell nucleus. Responsibilities include leading and managing research projects, supervising graduate and undergraduate students as needed, writing scientific papers, reports, and grant proposals. Expertise relevant to the position include: molecular and cellular biology, cancer research, and bioinformatics and next-generation sequencing.
Position Requirements
Education: PhD in molecular biology or related field.

The salary for this role is $78,624.00 per annum. The salary range or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
