Role Overview
We’re looking for a Software Engineer to help build and scale Beam’s AI agent platform. You’ll work across frontend, backend, and AI orchestration – integrating with EHRs, designing core infrastructure, and shipping production-critical features that move real clinics every single day.
This is a hybrid role, meeting at our Red Bank, NJ office 1-2 times a week.
What You’ll Do
- Build core features across multiple AI agents (intake, documentation, billing, growth, etc.)
- Architect scalable systems across frontend (React/Chrome extension) and backend (Python/FastAPI/Django)
- Integrate with complex EHR systems
- Work with LLM APIs + agent orchestration frameworks to build high-reliability workflows
- Ship production-ready, high-consequence code used in live medical operations daily
- Solve gnarly real-world operational problems with autonomy and velocity
