Summary
Art in Tanzania is developing youth football, assisting in the talent development of a Football Academy jointly with its partners.

Details
Football is the national sport in Tanzania. There is enormous potential for young, talented girls and boys. However, it is hard to produce professional football players due to their low capacity.

The Art in Tanzania Football Development program is a joint effort with our partners, the Briessfull Stars Organisation, of retired top Tanzanian football professionals.

Part of the financing comes from 7Elity Academy in Utah, USA, which has branches in the UK and South Africa connected to top world football clubs.

We look for interns and volunteers to join and assist in coaching, ball, and physical training activities. Also, advocate for young players about good nutrition, hygiene, and other public health issues.

Participants can also assist in the village and school sports activities.

We use our social media pages for advocacy work, and our Facebook pages have more than 50K followers.

The internship outcome is to learn to use your studies and experience to work in a developing country’s conditions.

Work hours are 6-8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Your program can be from 2 weeks to 12 months.

Commonly, an internship is 2-3 months long. The placement starting dates are flexible.

Academic-level team leaders supervise your internship daily.

We monitor your work with a weekly plan and report system to ensure you proceed well with your tasks.

We can take students in all year round as all programs are ongoing.

Your placement is tailored to your background, experience, and interests to empower your daily work with the community.

The typical morning tasks include practical fieldwork in the schools and communities, and afternoons are for planning, reporting, and social media visibility functions.

The Benefits and Perks are as follows:
Accommodation with breakfast and dinner is EUR 175 per week and is a personal expense. However, the cost drops to EUR 125 weekly after the first 13 weeks.
Airport transfers from and to EUR 120 are a personal expense.
A charity student or volunteer VISA is USD 50 and is a personal expense. Less than a 1-year multiple-entry charity VISA is USD 250.
We pay you a USD 100 per month stipend. It is small but 2x Tanzania’s national minimum wage.
The local transport program in Tanzania is a personal expense but small if needed.

You and your visiting friends can enjoy low-cost, sustainable tours and safaris.

We need your tentative arrival and departure date to book you and open your account.
