“McKinsey recently announced the launch of their annual APD programs: Connect with APD and Insight. These programs are designed to help you begin to determine if a career as a McKinsey consultant is right for you.

  • Connect with APD: A virtual series introducing Advanced Degree candidates to consulting and helping them build relationships with our consultants, firm leaders, and recruiters.
  • Insight: An immersive, in-person event co-hosted by our affinity networks, focusing on leadership, problem-solving, and hands-on consulting experience. In order to be considered for Insight you must indicate interest in the program through the Connect with APD application – no additional forms needed.

Both Connect with APD and Insight are open to class of 2027 students who are pursuing a PhD, postdoc or MD (including medical interns, residents and fellows) degree in the United States; interested in exploring the firm and our Associate role.
