“The Intern Opportunity Fund (IOF) is a ONE TIME scholarship to Congressional interns that need additional assistance for their internship (district or D.C. based). This fund is open to any college/university student (freshman to senior) that is Federal Pell Grant eligible, recent graduate students that were Federal Pell-Grant eligible (within the first year of graduation), or graduate students that received a Pell Grant in their final year of undergraduate school, that is in need of financial assistance.All applicants MUST have a secured fall 2023 Congressional internship (district or D.C. based) to apply for IOF. However, if an applicant needs assistance securing an internship, our Program Manager can assist them prior to submitting the IOF application.We provide funding to cover the gap in students internships, this includes financial assistance for housing, travel, transportation, clothing, and technology.Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis from August 1 – November 3rd, 2023.”
