Oxford Properties is looking for a highly motivated Analyst to join our Investments team in New York. In this role you will have the opportunity to support all investment, finance, strategy, risk and portfolio management initiatives. Your analytical skills, problem solving abilities and business acumen will be key to your success. Oxford Properties invests in all major high-growth asset classes and across the entire capital structure. We will look to invest in both public and private markets, and partner / co-invest with strategic investors and best-in-class managers across the region.
ROLE:
The Analyst will work as part of the U.S. Investment Team, reporting to the Vice President, Investments. Key responsibilities will include analysis of real estate investment opportunities, market research and supporting senior investment team members on transaction executions.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for

Financial analysis of a wide range of real estate investments, including modelling of real estate cash flows, financing assumptions, IRRs, output sensitivities etc., as well as research to support key underwriting assumptions

Analysis and interpretation of real estate, economic and public company data, including financial statements, to conduct valuation and operational benchmarking

Supporting the transaction review process including the review of investment committee submissions, financial analysis and related underwriting models for all transactions and developments- Preparation of documents for internal and external purposes, including writing investment committee memos and presentations to partners

Collaborating and working well within a small team, coordinating directly with senior team members and external advisors, allowing broad exposure to deals at an early stage

Assisting in the valuation of Oxford’s existing portfolio as well as providing asset management related analysis and commentary on an as needed basis

Assisting in the global and regional strategic planning process
