Networking is an important aspect of a job search within these fields. Alumni are very happy to hear from undergrads, and often quite willing to offer advice and connections to opportunities. Make use of the Harvard Alumni Directory to find alumni and reach out to request an informational conversation. You’ll find not only alums from the College (ESPP, EPS, Enviro Engineering) but alums of the graduate schools, such as the Graduate School of Design and the Extension School Sustainability Master’s program.
