The Mignone Center for Career Success serves Harvard Extension School (HES) admitted undergraduate and graduate degree candidates and alumni. In addition, we welcome HES Premedical Program participants in need of general career advice and support. Please note: we do not offer fellowship or premedical services to HES degree candidates or alumni. HES admitted degree candidates interested in premed advising should connect with the HES Premedical Program Office after speaking with their academic advisor.

All currently enrolled Harvard Extension School students can view information about the Career and Academic Resource Center (CARC) and more on the Extension School Career Services page.

We offer a wide range of services tailored to the needs of adult learners at all stages of their careers, including those seeking to make a career change or to move within their current company or field. To make the most of our career resources, we recommend that you set up a Crimson Careers account and watch the Introduction to Career Services webinar. Through Crimson Careers, you can search 24/7 for hundreds of jobs and internships, schedule career advising appointments, and identify employer contacts.

Individual Advising Appointments (Year-Round)

Harvard Extension School admitted degree candidates and alumni and current Premedical Program participants can meet with Shoshana Mavor and Amanda Peters for individual career advising appointments in person, by phone, or on Zoom. To schedule a 30-minute appointment, log on to Crimson Careers and select “Advising Appointment.”

Virtual Drop-In Career Advising Hours (offered between September and May)

Fifteen-minute virtual drop-in career advising sessions are available one Monday per month, September to May, between 1pm and 3:45pm ET.

These first-come, first-served slots with Amanda Peters are available via phone or Zoom to all currently registered Harvard Extension School students and alumni to ask questions about career options, resumes, cover letters, job search strategies, and interviewing skills.

Registration opens the Friday before each drop-in date and any open slots can be booked up until the drop-in hours are concluded.

Details can be found on the HES Career Services page.
