Explore Your Interests / Self Assessment

Are you still exploring your interests, weighing which of your interests to pursue, or considering post-Harvard options? Welcome! Exploration, fostering lifelong curiosity, and building a broad intellectual foundation are at the root of the Harvard experience.

Within the Exploration community you will have access to resources to guide you through self-discovery, exploring careers and interests, designing your Harvard experience to make it unique to your needs, skill development, and making decisions.

Learning about who you are and how you want to make an impact is a great place to begin. Career choices that combine your skills, interests, values, and personality are likely to be a good fit. Exploring your personal, academic, and career interests enables you to begin to develop career goals. Reflecting on experiences in your classes, work, internships, teaching, research, student groups, and community will generate many interesting options to consider and learn more about.

Once you have some ideas about what can come next, you’re ready to take steps forward!
